Patience

Years of photographing nature, there are so many things that amaze me, however the one attribute of insects that really amazes me is their patience.

There are three that I have photographed… Jagged Ambush Bug, Green Lynx Spider and the Crab Spider.

Each one will wait patiently, maybe hours or days, for their prey to gather nectar from the flower they have chosen.

They will hide under or blend within the petals and await for the their meal. Hopefully one day I will be able to video at least one of these more closely.

Have a great Sunday exploring nature!
