Mourning Dove

Doves are a common bird, and the Mourning Dove is the only one native to Florida.  While photographing this one perched on a broken limb of an oak tree, I didn’t realize how graceful they appeared.

So simple, innocent and somewhat a sense of peace and sometimes nature reminds you of that.
