Green Lynx Spider

Just one of the a few spiders that do not weave a web. These wait patiently for prey to cross their paths. I have seen these spiders on thistles, which is a good choice for these guys since thistles are a hot spot for moths, bees and butterflies.

These spiders are great leapers they do create a dragline. Those spiny long legs and neon green color are almost unnoticeable… so watch where you step!
